Terms and Conditions
Dae Won Kim operates the One Punch — Home Workout mobile application (the "Service", name on the App Store and Google Play subject to change for search and discovery purposes).
The app is made available to you on an "as is", "with all faults" and "as available" basis.
Please read this section carefully since it limits the liability of One Punch — Home Workout. By using One Punch — Home Workout, your use of the app is at your own discretion and risk. One Punch — Home Workout makes no claims or promises with respect to the quality, the accuracy or reliability of the app, its security, or its content. The app provides general fitness content and is not a substitute for medical advice. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise program.
One Punch — Home Workout does not require any sign-in or account creation to use. You can start using the app right away without providing personal information such as your name, email address, or social account.
The app is offered in two tiers: a free tier supported by ads, and a Pro tier (in-app purchase) that removes ads. Pro purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective terms; One Punch — Home Workout does not receive or store your payment information.
Privacy Policy
Why do I need to collect and process some of your data?
One Punch — Home Workout is designed with a business model that lets me generate revenues without selling your data or doing anything creepy with it. The app only collects and processes a limited set of data to:
- Improve the app experience by analyzing in-app usage and important events happening inside the app.
- Diagnose and fix crashes or technical issues so the app keeps running smoothly for everyone.
- Serve ads to free-tier users so I can continue to offer the app for free.
What kind of data are stored?
Because One Punch — Home Workout does not require sign-in, no personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or social account is collected by the app.
A. Workout data
Your workout history, settings, and progress are stored locally on your device only. This data is not uploaded to my servers and is not accessible to me. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently removed from your device.
B. Analytics & crash reporting data
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand in-app usage and to diagnose crashes. The data processed for these purposes may include:
- Anonymous device identifiers (e.g., a non-permanent advertising ID or app instance ID)
- Device model, operating system version, language, and country/region
- App version
- Frequency and duration of usage, screens viewed, and significant in-app events
- Crash logs and diagnostic information when the app encounters an error
This data is processed by Firebase Analytics (which tracks user engagement and major events happening inside the app to provide insights to developers) and Crashlytics (which provides crash reporting insights allowing developers to fix issues faced by users while they experience the app). It is not used to personally identify you.
C. Advertising data (free tier only)
The free tier of One Punch — Home Workout displays ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may access a non-permanent device advertising identifier (such as the iOS IDFA or the Android Advertising ID) and basic device/network information. You can reset or limit the use of this advertising identifier at any time from your device's system settings ("Privacy > Tracking" on iOS, "Ads" on Android).
The Pro tier removes ads. When you are on the Pro tier, no advertising identifier is collected by the app for the purpose of showing ads.
You can review Google's privacy practices for AdMob at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and Google's overall privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Does the app integrate with Apple Health or Google Fit?
No. One Punch — Home Workout does not read from or write to Apple Health, Google Fit, or any other health data platform. No health data is collected.
Where are your data stored?
Workout data stays on your device. Analytics and crash reporting data are processed and stored by Google through Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) and Google AdMob on the free tier. I do not operate a separate server that stores your personal data.
Can I request that One Punch — Home Workout deletes all the data collected about me?
Because the app does not require sign-in and your workout data is stored only on your device, the simplest way to delete your data is to uninstall the app or clear its data from your device's settings. This will remove all workout history and locally stored information.
For the anonymous analytics and crash data processed by Firebase, you can email me at dw2kim@gmail.com with the subject line "One Punch — Data deletion request" and include your device's app instance ID (if known) so I can request its deletion from Firebase. You can also reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings to disassociate future ad data from prior activity.
I have a question about my data
If you have a question about this privacy policy and how your data are collected, used and stored when you use One Punch — Home Workout, please feel free to email me at dw2kim@gmail.com with the subject line "Data question" and let me know how I can help you.
Changes & updates
If One Punch — Home Workout makes changes to its Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy, these changes will be posted on this page in a timely manner. I reserve the right to modify these terms & conditions and/or privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently (at least on every app update).
In case of a business transaction in which a portion or all of One Punch — Home Workout business is acquired, you will be notified as described above in this paragraph.
